Comma Scavenger Hunt: Find at least 5 examples of various comma strategies (series, adjectives, introductory, interrupter, appositive, nouns of direct address, etc.) while you are reading. Copy each sentence down on a sheet of notebook paper or a Google document. Make sure you name the source of the text they came from. Use your comma notes to help you find different types.
Print your infographic if you haven't.

Essay Topic: read through the possible argumentative essay topics in their google folder and choose three that might be of interest to you. Copy the topics down on a separate document.
RL: Newsela Immigration Set (Read for at least 20 minutes, record article(s) read on your RL)
Friday 3/3
Generate a list of searchable terms on the white space of your argumentative essay rubric/checklist. You should have at least 7-10 terms. Also, find three good sources to begin your research. Start a notes page and paste the links to the sources on your notes page. (All reading can be put on your RL)
